We are the Brotherly Grub Food Truck. We specialize in traditional Southern cooking techniques and create small eats with a Spanish twist.
Brotherly Grub takes those same flavors and creates many dishes for vegans, as well.
Brotherly Grub started in Philadelphia, founded by Chef Tanesha Trippett. Tanesha is one of many cooks in her family. She believes that best cooks in her family were primarily born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. This is the place where her palate was developed to experience authentic, Southern “comfort foods.” From deep frying outdoors, to steaming fresh seafood, as well as creating smoky, grilled foods. With the rise in vegan cuisine, Chef Tanesha also creates delicious and robust vegetable dishes, like her famous, potato wedge tacos!
The vision for Brotherly Grub is to excite patrons using extraordinary flavors. Whether our truck is located on a city corner, your front yard, or a busy food festival, we create each dish with great detail.
Last, but not least, we support local businesses and farms by purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables through our neighborhood urban farms. Our goal is to “give back” to various communities with fundraisers, mentorship programs and more.
